Q: When and where will the competition take place?

The preliminary rounds will be held online, where contestants will submit video-recorded speeches. Shortlisted participants will then advance to the regional competitions, and the national finalists will be selected from there.

Q: How can one qualify for the National Championships?

To qualify for the National Championship, simply register online from anywhere in the country.

Who We Are

The Young Orators (TYO) is the flagship initiative of the prestigious Peat Phillips Foundation (PPF), a non-profit organisation dedicated to shaping the leaders of tomorrow. Through TYO, we aim to inspire young people aged 16 to 20 to become articulate speakers, critical thinkers, and confident leaders

By participating in TYO, young orators receive hands-on training in public speaking, debate, and leadership skills. We create a vibrant platform for young people to develop both academically and personally, with real-world applications that build the foundation for lifelong success and make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.
